Privacy policy

Please note, this policy applies to the use of this website (RogerLawsonConsulting.com). If you wish to see the Privacy Policy that relates to market research that I run, you can view it here.

I’m going to keep this really simple.

Firstly, I take the privacy and protection of your data, and all data, very seriously. It’s your data, not mine, and I won’t forget that.

How do I collect data, how is it used and what happens to it

I collect data at the following times:

When you use this website

I use cookies. These are necessary for the management of the site and improve your browsing experience. You can switch these off in your browser settings.

I also run analysis on this website, including understanding how you reached it and which pages you look at most. These also require cookies which I use.

When you sign up for my blog

I’m delighted that you find my occasional blogging useful. All sign up for the blog is on the basis of opt-in which you will then be asked to confirm. This process is known as double opt-in.

Once you have done this, I will use this data in order to send you blogs as and when I write them. I will not use this data for any other purpose.

When you submit a ‘Contact Me’ form

If you want to make contact with me, you can do so through my ‘Contact Me’ page.

When you submit your data through the ‘Contact Me’ form, I will only use it to reply to your query and any necessary follow up.

I will not share your data with anyone

It’s simple, I will not share your data with anyone. Ever.

Except… (Isn’t there always a but!)

  1. This website, and my blog, are managed by WordPress. To the extent that they need to administer these they will have access to your data. You can read their Privacy Policy here.
  2. If there is a legal requirement to do so under data protection legislation

Your rights

You can stop receiving my blog by clicking on the ‘Unsubscribe’ link that is included in every email. Or you can contact me (07929 208 848 or Privacy@RogerLawsonConsulting.com) and I’ll do this for you.

In fact, if you have any other worries or questions, please do contact me and I’ll try to address them. And if you are unhappy with the way I do this, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, which you can find here.
